Treasury Secretary deciding if you make too much?

First we have the President of the United States firing the CEO of a major private corporation, General Motors...Now we are going to let the Treasury Secretary, a man who can't even figure out how to use TurboTax, decide how much is too much to make? Not just for CEO's and CFO's and the like, but for any employee of a company that receives federal bailout funds. This is not good. Timothy Geitner has enough to do administering a tax system for us that he has never apparently thought applied to him. Do we really want him deciding how much a bankteller or assemblyline worker should make?...I DON'T.

  1. Ummm. He needs to go away.

I don't remember the exact quote, but I'm assuming you heard it. He said something like, "American will get to the point where they don't care as much about what they make, because they will be in fulfilling jobs." Uhhhhhhh....REALLY? I wonder if he'd be willing to share some of his salary and pay off my house for me.

  2. The Treasury has never held so much power in our entire history. It is scary enough without a half wit like Gietner running things.
